It’s also about helping you choose the right materials, finding the right balance in your (holiday) home, apartment or office….And then dotting all the i’s and crossing all the t’s during the creation of your space.
About Floortje
Before becoming a certified interior decorator, Floortje spent 12 years working in the trading room of a major French bank. She later founded and sold an import/export company in the food sector.
These diverse experiences have made Floortje agile, flexible, curious, and highly rigorous. In 2017, she decided to pursue her creative passion for fabrics, materials, and innovative design shapes.
Floortje combines international experience with a personal taste for bold lines, soft fabrics, and maximalism within minimalism—trademarks of Dutch design. Her time at hotel management school in Amsterdam made her deeply attuned to the well-being, comfort, and happiness that thoughtful space design and decoration can bring.
After earning her interior decorator’s certificate in 2018, Floortje launched her own agency. In 2024, she was joined by Eve Challeton to further expand her vision.
About Eve
Before becoming a certified Interior Designer, Eve worked as an investigative journalist and producer for French TV. She also holds a master’s degree in marketing and communications.
Eve brings a unique combination of skills to her work. With a keen eye for beauty and an inquisitive mind, she shapes spaces tailored to her clients’ needs. Her ironclad mentality ensures smooth oversight when managing construction sites as a Building Contractor.
Eve’s Design Philosophy

- Maximizing natural light: Light is central to her approach, creating bright and welcoming spaces.
- Bringing nature inside: Eve believes nature should always have a presence in interior design.

Floortje van Zoelen
Elegant, warm, functional and authentic. This is the characterisation of Floortje’s interior design. We are always looking for the perfect balance between beauty and comfort that an interior needs.
Born in Amsterdam, raised on the boardwalk and living in passing in Boston, Floortje has been in France for over 20 years. After a ling career in high finance, she has set out as a certified interior designer in 2018. She is creative, driven and energetic and loves to challenge you to go a little further and make some bold choices. She speaks English, French an Dutch.
